While Tottenham Hotspur's first-team squad is full of high-profile players, that has not been reflected in their results on the pitch during the current campaign.

As well as already being out of the Champions League and FA Cup, Spurs sit in eighth position in the Premier League standings, seven points adrift of fourth-placed Chelsea.

Although Jose Mourinho opted to make two significant additions in January, the Portuguese may continue with the upheaval during the next transfer window, aware that funds could potentially be raised from player sales.

Here, Sports Mole takes a look at which members of the squad are currently valued the highest, as well as those who would be regarded as a bargain.

As you would expect, Harry Kane is by far the most valuable player on Spurs' books. Given his goal return over the years and having over four years left on his contract, it is a surprise that the England skipper is only priced at £135m, although that may be down to his recent spell out with a hamstring injury. The likes of Manchester United, Juventus and Real Madrid are said to be considering bids for the frontman.

The valuation of Son Heung-min and Dele Alli stands at £72m. While there will be arguments for and against why their price-tags should be higher or lower, you cannot dispute their return in the final third and their value for money. Son has 83 goals from 220 appearances, many of which have come from the flanks, while Alli has contributed 62 goals from 219 outings. Between them, the pair cost Spurs just £27m.

While Mourinho may disagree, Tanguy Ndombele is currently rated at £58.5m. Despite arriving in North London with a big reputation, the former Lyon man has, so far, failed to deliver in a Spurs shirt. During his first campaign, the Frenchman has found himself substituted before the 70-minute mark after making many of his 17 starts, while considerable time has been spent in the treatment room. All things considered, Mourinho would jump at the chance of a sale at his perceived price-tag.

In the case of Davinson Sanchez, there is no prospect of the Colombia international being sold in the foreseeable future. With Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen the wrong side of 30, the 23-year-old is regarded as a long-term fixture in the centre of the defence. Although Sanchez is priced at £54m, having over four years left on his contract means that Spurs would want much more should they ever be open to parting ways with the player.

Lucas Moura and Harry Winks come in at £36m apiece, a fair reflection given their time in and out of the starting lineup. While Moura has just 23 goals to his name since January 2018, there is an argument that his famous treble against Ajax in the Champions League semi-finals was worth £36m on its own. Despite now being 24 years of age, Winks has made just 89 starts in all competitions, but Spurs will value the pass-master given that he came through the academy setup.

Steven Bergwijn and Ryan Sessegnon are each priced at £31.5m, although that fee is mainly based on their undoubted potential over their return in a Spurs shirt thus far. Having recently penned a new contract, Alderweireld is valued at £27m, an indication of his importance given that Vertonghen may soon be leaving the club on a free transfer.

Further down the list, the versatility of Eric Dier and Moussa Sissoko keeps them relatively high, despite neither man impressing on a consistent basis. Not many Spurs fans would value Serge Aurier and Erik Lamela in the same price bracket, but the frequent injury problems for the latter means that he is only on par with the attack-minded full-back.

Now 33 years of age and being past his best, Hugo Lloris arguably possesses an inflated fee of £16.2m, but that is unlikely to change until Spurs look to sign a long-term replacement for the World Cup winner. Of the remaining players, Gedson Fernandes and Japhet Tanganga should only go up in price once they have gained more experience in the starting lineup.
