Southampton are reportedly prepared to allow goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga to leave St Mary's during the summer transfer window.

Southampton have reportedly decided that they are prepared to part ways with goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga.

The 25-year-old has been contracted to the Saints since 2012, but he has only gone on to make 23 appearances in all competitions.

Gazzaniga spent last season on loan at Rayo Vallecano - where he featured on 32 occasions - but according to the Daily Echo, he does not have a future at St Mary's.

It has been suggested that Vallecano are keen on a reunion with the Argentine, while Nantes also hold an interest in his signature.

Fraser Forster is regarded as first-choice at Southampton, with Alex McCarthy and Harry Lewis providing the competition.
