Sunday's Ligue 1 predictions including Paris Saint-Germain vs. Monaco

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Ligue 1 fixtures, including Paris Saint-Germain vs. Monaco.

Nantes vs. Toulouse (Sunday, 12.00pm)

After taking two points from their opening three Ligue 1 games, Nantes will attempt to claim their first win of the season against Toulouse on Sunday.

The visitors, meanwhile, are aiming to maintain their unbeaten start to the season after collecting five points from their three matches.

We say: Nantes 1-1 Toulouse

While Nantes are winless this term, Toulouse are still unbeaten and we think that the visitors will continue that run by holding their hosts to a draw on Sunday.

Lorient vs. Clermont (Sunday, 2.00pm)

After collecting four points from their opening two games, Lorient will look to continue their unbeaten start to the season when they play host to Clermont on Sunday.

Clermont, meanwhile, will be aiming to clinch a third consecutive victory after beating Reims and Nice in their last two matches.

We say: Lorient 1-1 Clermont

Although Clermont have won their last two matches, we think they will have to settle for a point against a Lorient side who have avoided defeat in their opening two games.

Nice vs. Marseille (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Marseille square off against rivals Nice on Sunday afternoon looking to extend their unbeaten start in Ligue 1 to four matches.

In sharp contrast, Nice have collected just two points from their opening three fixtures, leaving the Europa Conference League qualifiers down in 16th position in the standings.

We say: Nice 1-2 Marseille

Given the talent that they have brought through the door, expectations are high at Nice. Nevertheless, despite improvements likely to be around the corner, we feel that Marseille are a more united group right now and could prevail during the closing stages of an entertaining fixture.

Brest vs. Montpellier (Sunday, 2.00pm)

After beating Angers last weekend, Brest will look to clinch consecutive victories when they welcome Montpellier HSC to Stade Francis-Le Ble.

The visitors, meanwhile, are looking to bounce back from back-to-back defeats after losing 5-2 to Paris Saint-Germain and 2-1 to Auxerre.

We say: Brest 1-1 Montpellier HSC

Although Montpellier have lost their last two matches, we think they will have enough quality to take a point from Sunday's away encounter against Brest.

Troyes vs. Angers (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Troyes and Angers will look to claim their first win of the season when they face off at the Stade de l'Aube on Sunday.

The hosts have lost all of their three matches this season, while Angers have taken two points from their opening three games.

We say: Troyes 1-2 Angers

Although Angers are still winless this season, their results are more encouraging than those of Troyes, and we think the visitors could record their first win of the campaign when they face a side who have conceded 10 goals in their opening three games.

Reims vs. Lyon (Sunday, 4.05pm)

Matchday Four in the Ligue 1 campaign will see Reims seeking their first victory of the season when they welcome undefeated Lyon to Stade Auguste-Delaune on Sunday.

Les rouges et blancs picked up their first point of the season last weekend, drawing Strasbourg 1-1, while Lyon have won their only two fixtures to date, beating Troyes 4-1 last Friday.

We say: Reims 1-3 Lyon

Reims have put together some solid performances against Lyon recently, but this OL side have a lot more firepower and are extremely dangerous in front of goal, while les rouges et blancs have had a hard time staying composed on the back end when under pressure this season.

PSG vs. Monaco (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Paris Saint-Germain take on Monaco in Ligue 1 on Sunday.

The hosts are looking to maintain their 100% record in the league after three matches.

We say: Paris Saint-Germain 3-1 Monaco

We expect to see a reaction from Monaco after their heavy defeat to Lens last week, but it is unlikely to be enough to prevent PSG from winning.

Galtier's side look more free-flowing in attack than ever with more defensive security than before, too, and they could be a tough train to stop in their tracks.
