Spanish giants Real Madrid have reportedly tabled an improved £121m offer for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba in the last 24 hours.

Real Madrid have upped their offer for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba to £121m, according to a report.

Los Blancos are rumoured to have already agreed a big-money deal with Chelsea for Eden Hazard and they are now closing in on their second galactico signing of the summer.

Reports in the Spanish media suggest that Pogba is 'going crazy' for a move away from Old Trafford following a drop in his salary as a result of United's failure to qualify for the Champions League, on top of being abused by his own supporters.

The France international wants to link up with compatriot Zinedine Zidane at the Bernabeu, and the report indicates that a transfer is now closer to being complete than ever before.

It is said that Madrid have increased their initial bid, believed to be under the £100m mark, to £121m in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the report also implies that Pogba's arrival in the Spanish capital could spell the end for Toni Kroos and Luka Modric.
