Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero will put pen to paper on a new long-term contract at Manchester City in the next fortnight, according to a report.

Sergio Aguero will reportedly commit his future to Manchester City by signing a four-year deal before the start of the new season.

The Argentina international is currently under contract until 2019 and has talked in the past about possibly departing the club to move back to his homeland.

According to The Sun, the 28-year-old is happy to put pen to paper on fresh terms that will see him pass the £200,000-a-week mark in wages and join the Citizens' top earners.

Aguero, who has scored 75 goals in 175 Premier League appearances for City, is currently in the Far East as part of the club's pre-season tour.
