Manchester City plan to make more signings this summer after Erling Braut Haaland, according to a report.

Manchester City are reportedly planning a spending spree this summer despite already securing a deal for Borussia Dortmund centre-forward Erling Braut Haaland.

The Citizens have won the race to sign Haaland, with the Norway international set to arrive at Etihad Stadium this summer despite firm interest from the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid.

However, according to the Daily Mail, the Premier League champions are planning more signings in the upcoming market, with the club looking to 'dominate English football' in the years to come.

The report claims that the Citizens want to bring 'a specialist left-back' to the club this summer, while a defensive midfielder to replace the outing Fernandinho will also be targeted.

Pep Guardiola's side again fell short in the Champions League this season, with the team losing to Real Madrid in the semi-finals following a 3-1 defeat at Bernabeu in the second leg.

Man City have bounced back from the European disappointment in impressive fashion, though, winning their last two Premier League matches against Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers, scoring 10 times in the process.

The Citizens are currently three points clear of second-placed Liverpool and would open up a six-point advantage with a victory over West Ham United on Sunday afternoon.

Despite failing to bring a new centre-forward to the club last summer, Man City are still the leading goalscorers in the league this term, finding the back of the net on 94 occasions.

Kevin De Bruyne has 15 Premier League goals to his name, while Raheem Sterling (13), Riyad Mahrez (11), Phil Foden (nine), Bernardo Silva (eight) and Gabriel Jesus (eight) have also contributed impressive numbers in England's top flight.

Man City were strongly linked with Harry Kane during last summer's transfer window, but the move for Haaland has ended their interest in the England captain, who is set to remain at Tottenham Hotspur.

There are also expected to be outings at the club this summer, with Gabriel Jesus potentially heading to Arsenal, while Sterling also continues to be linked with an exit.

Silva has been a vital player for the Citizens once again, but the Portugal international told the English champions that he wanted to leave last summer, and Barcelona are believed to be keen to explore the possibility of signing him in the upcoming market.

Jack Grealish arrived at the club in a big-money deal from Aston Villa last summer, but the England international has struggled to make his mark, contributing just five goals and four assists in 38 appearances.

Man City, as mentioned, will play the penultimate match of their Premier League campaign away to West Ham on Sunday afternoon before finishing at home to Aston Villa on May 22.

Second-placed Liverpool, meanwhile, will face Southampton and Wolverhampton Wanderers in their final two league games before taking on Real Madrid in the Champions League final on May 28.
