Manchester City team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Porto

Sports Mole rounds up Manchester City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Wednesday's Champions League clash with Porto.

Manchester City will kick off their 2020-21 Champions League campaign with a home game against Portuguese giants Porto on Wednesday night.

The Citizens will enter the match off the back of a much-needed 1-0 victory over Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday and will be determined to start their European season with a positive result.

City were surprisingly dumped out of last season's competition by Lyon, having suffered a 3-1 defeat to the French side in the second leg of their quarter-final at the Etihad Stadium.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Porto, who drew 2-2 with Sporting Lisbon in their last league match on Saturday.

Gabriel Jesus has missed City's last five matches in all competitions with a muscular problem, and the Brazil international is set to be on the sidelines for "some months", with Guardiola issuing an update on the attacker's injury situation in the aftermath of the win over Arsenal.
