Manchester City, Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund reportedly express their interest in Paris Saint-Germain's 17-year-old starlet Warren Zaire-Emery.

Manchester City and Liverpool have reportedly expressed their interest in Paris Saint-Germain starlet Warren Zaire-Emery.

The 17-year-old midfielder was given his first taste of senior football with the French giants in the 2022-23 campaign, starting 10 times and making 21 substitute outings across all competitions.

Zaire-Emery became PSG's youngest-ever goalscorer at the age of just 16 years and 330 days when he came off the bench to score in a 3-1 away victory over Montpellier in January.

The teenager academy graduate then became the youngest-ever player to start a Champions League knockout match when PSG locked horns with Bayern Munich in the last 16 a month later.

Zaire-Emery is under contract at the Parc des Princes until the summer of 2025, but speculation over his long-term future has surfaced in recent weeks amid interest from a number of top European clubs.

According to RMC Sport, Man City manager Pep Guardiola 'adores' Zaire-Emery and is confident that he can help the teenager develop further at the Etihad Stadium.

The midfielder is understood to have been mentioned during negotiations between the treble winners and PSG over a deal for Bernardo Silva.

The Ligue 1 champions have identified Bernardo as one of their top targets this summer, but Man City value the 28-year-old playmaker in excess of £70m, which is proving to be a stumbling block between both parties.

Man City will only consider lowering their asking price for Bernardo if they can receive Zaire-Emery in part-exchange, but PSG consider the teenager 'untransferable' and they have no plans to let him leave.

The report adds that Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund are among several clubs who 'remain attentive' to Zaire-Emery's situation at the Parc des Princes.

Having already added Alexis Mac Allister to his squad, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is on the lookout for more midfield reinforcements this summer, following the departures of James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita upon the expiration of their contracts.

Dortmund, meanwhile, are also in the market for new midfielders after recently waving goodbye to star man Jude Bellingham who has joined Real Madrid for an initial £88.5m plus add-ons.

The German club will also see Mahmoud Dahoud leave the club when his contract expires at the end of this month, and the 27-year-old has agreed to join Brighton & Hove Albion on a free transfer.

Christophe Galtier currently possesses a number of midfield options at this disposal including Zaire-Emery, Marco Verratti, Fabian Ruiz, Vitinha, Carlos Soler, Renato Sanches, Georginio Wijnaldum and Leandro Paredes, while Manuel Ugarte is set to join on a permanent deal from Sporting Lisbon.
