The Clarets have lost all three Premier League matches so far.

Burnley boss Sean Dyche says he is not really one for worrying over results.

Dyche, whose team have been beaten in all three of their Premier League games so far this season, says the focus is on planning for what lies ahead.

The next fixture for the Clarets is Monday's clash with West Brom at the Hawthorns.

They lost 4-2 at Leicester in the opening match of their campaign, then 1-0 at home against Southampton and 3-1 at Newcastle.

When asked when he would start to worry about results not picking up, Dyche said: "I've never been one to worry too much.

"I'm always a realist. There's always a concern in every moment in anything in football. But I don't really worry.

"I think we plan: we plan, and we rethink, and we add the detail, and we look at ourselves. I always look at myself first, the staff as well, and we look at what we're doing.

"Then we add in the realities of the challenge currently, with injuries etc, then we add in the realities of the challenge with the games we are playing, because we remind ourselves it is the Premier League, it is a very, very tough league.

"Then we process all that and look to add it all together and move forward.

"We just work with the players on a continuous basis to get the best out of them, because if we do that, then you get results."

Dyche had seven players unavailable due to injury a few weeks ago and ahead of Monday's game there are three definite absentees in Ben Mee, Jack Cork and Matt Lowton.

The manager has been hopeful former West Brom striker Jay Rodriguez will be able to play a part after missing the last three games in all competitions with an ankle problem, and Burnley have been assessing Johann Berg Gudmundsson (groin) and Bailey Peacock-Farrell (hip).

Ashley Barnes, James Tarkowski, Gudmundsson and Robbie Brady all returned to the matchday squad just before the international break.

Dyche said: "I'd like to think we've got a group who are coming back together, a mentality that is definitely intact, a focus that is there.

"They know the challenge. We've got a group now that have become more experienced because of the years of playing in the Premier League. We know the challenges, we know you can have tough spells in the Premier League.

"Ideally, you get points on the board early, it's just a sort of safety net and everyone feels right about themselves.

"But we've had tough starts before and come through it. So that is the task: to come through a tough start, settle things down and deliver good performances."

Burnley face a West Brom side who have taken one point from four games so far this season following their promotion.
