German club VfLBochum keen to sign Birmingham City midfielder Robert Tesche?

Vfl Bochum are reportedly keen on signing Birmingham City midfielder Robert Tesche on a permanent basis.

Vfl Bochum have reportedly indicated that they want to sign Birmingham City midfielder Robert Tesche.

Last summer, Tesche penned a season-long loan deal with the German second-tier side and made 18 appearances in the league.

According to Westline.de, Bochum now wish to sign the 31-year-old on a permanent basis, with his Birmingham career seemingly at an end.

The German could still be given a chance to impress by manager Garry Monk - who was not at St Andrew's when Tesche left the club - but Birmingham may look to get the player off the wage bill.

Tesche still has one year remaining on his contract with the Championship outfit.
