Sergio Busquets describes Barcelona teammate Luis Suarez as 'the best striker in the world' after the Uruguayan's contribution in the 5-2 victory over Valencia.

Sergio Busquets has claimed that Barcelona teammate Luis Suarez is 'the best striker in the world'.

There have been times over the past 12 months when the Uruguay international, who turns 33 in January, has been linked with a transfer away from Camp Nou.

However, on his return to injury after a month on the sidelines, Suarez came off the bench to net two goals as Barcelona recorded a 5-2 victory over Valencia.

Suarez's contribution on Saturday night has led to Busquets talking up the qualities of the forward.

The Spaniard is quoted by Marca as saying: "He is the best striker in the world. He gives us a lot in terms of hunger, hard work and goals. That's very good for us because points are collected through goals."

The result moved Barcelona up to fourth position in the La Liga standings.
