How Arsenal could line up against Huddersfield Town

Sports Mole looks at how Arsenal could line up against Huddersfield Town in Saturday's Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal have a quick turnaround in Premier League games as they welcome Huddersfield Town to the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Gunners are back in action three days on from a 2-2 draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford that saw them slip out of the top four.

Changes could be on the cards for this third match in the busiest month of the year, especially after losing a couple of players to injury at Old Trafford.

Ahead of this weekend's clash in North London, Sports Mole looks at how Unai Emery could set out his side.

Possible ARS XI vs. HUD

Out: Rob Holding (knee), Danny Welbeck (ankle), Nacho Monreal (hamstring), Konstantinos Mavropanos (groin)
Doubtful: Aaron Ramsey (ankle), Mesut Ozil (back)

Ramsey and Holding were both forced off against United on Wednesday, with the latter suffering what Emery described as a "big" injury that could keep him ruled out for the long term.

The ankle injury sustained by Ramsey is not thought to be as serious, but the Gunners are unlikely to risk the Welsh midfielder during this busy run of fixtures.

Ramsey's absence may coincide with the return of Ozil, who has sat out Arsenal's last four matches with a back complaint.

Ozil enjoys playing against Huddersfield, having scored one and set up two more in a 5-0 home win at the Emirates Stadium last season.

Elsewhere, Granit Xhaka returns from suspension and should take over from Matteo Guendouzi in a like-for-like change in the engine room, while Alexandre Lacazette is in line for a return up front should Emery decide to revert back to a 4-2-3-1 formation to compensate for the loss of Holding.
