The American has recently spent time competing in the WDF, reaching the quarter-finals of the recent World Championship, but the 31-year-old will now play among the elite of the sport for the next two years.

As many as 23 Tour Cards were available on Sunday, with Dom Taylor securing his through beating Joshua Richardson by a 6-1 scoreline in the final of the UK event.

Matthew Dennant had put himself in prime position from his performances during the first two tournaments, and a semi-final appearance for the Walsall-based thrower saw him finish best of the rest.

Willie Borland, James Hurrell, George Killington, Rhys Griffin, Brett Claydon, Darren Beveridge and Adam Hunt are the other players to qualify from the order of merit.

The European equivalent was dramatically won by Jeffrey de Graaf, who responded to failing to win a single point in the opening three days to prevail 6-5 against Jitse van der Wal.

Haupai Puha, Jules van Dongen, Radek Szaganski, Chris Landman, Patrick Geeraets, Paul Krohne, Benjamin Drue Reus, Mario Vandenbogaerde, Lukas Wenig, Thibault Tricole and Tim Wolters were the other qualifiers from the order of merit.
