DeMarcus Ware has had surgery to repair a torn labrum.

The Dallas Cowboys linebacker underwent the operation yesterday, and hopes to recover in time for the off-season training camp.

The 30-year-old played most of the season with the injury, which caused his shoulder to pop in and out of the joint.

Ware also sustained a hyperextended elbow, but it has not yet been decided whether surgery is needed for that injury.

Ware led the Cowboys in sacks, recording 11.5 during the season.
