Arsenal boss Unai Emery reportedly scouted Djene Dakonam at the weekend as the Gunners consider a swoop for the Getafe defender in this summer's transfer window.
Djene, 27, has been in fine form for Getafe during the 2018-19 campaign, helping the Madrid outfit to fourth position in La Liga with a string of impressive performances.
The Togo international is believed to have a £31m release clause inserted into his current deal, and it has previously been reported that Barcelona have been scouting the defender this season.
According to AS, though, Arsenal are also interested in a summer swoop for Djene, with the London club's head coach Emery making a personal check on the defender during Sunday's goalless draw between Valencia and Getafe.
Djene, who joined his current club from Belgian outfit Sint-Truden in the summer of 2017, has made 26 La Liga appearances during the 2018-19 campaign.
