Hull Kingston Rovers hooker Shaun Lunt has signed a four-year deal with the club.

The 28-year-old joined the Robins on loan from Huddersfield Giants earlier this season.

"I've had a great time since joining the club earlier this season and I'm delighted to sign a new long-term contract," Lunt told Hull KR's official website.

"The fans have been fantastic with me ever since I came and I can't thank them enough for that. They're crackers but they've really made me feel welcome, as have the players and the coaching staff."

Hull KR are in action on Saturday when they face holders Leeds Rhinos in the Challenge Cup final at Wembley Stadium.
