A report claims that Wolverhampton Wanderers are closing in on the signing of Benfica midfielder Pepe, while Helder Costa and Silvio are heading for the club on loan.

Wolverhampton Wanderers will reportedly complete a triple transfer swoop on Wednesday afternoon as the Fosun International era begins at the Championship outfit.

Last week, it was confirmed that the Chinese investment firm had agreed to purchase the club from Steve Morgan for a figure in the region of £30m.

Super-agent Jorge Mendes was reportedly hugely involved in the deal and according to the Express & Star, three Mendes players are heading for Kenny Jackett's side.

Former AC Milan midfielder Pele, a former Portugal Under-21 international, is expected to join from Benfica, while winger Helder Costa and full-back Silvio, who has eight caps for the Portugal national team, are also believed to be heading for Wolves on loan for the 2016-17 campaign.

Jeff Shi, who will represent Fosun International on the Wolves board, revealed on Monday that he wanted to bring in 'up to eight players' before the end of the transfer window next month.
