Paul Lambert names an unchanged side as Wolverhampton Wanderers welcome Nottingham Forest to Molineux.

Paul Lambert has named an unchanged side as Wolverhampton Wanderers welcome Nottingham Forest to Molineux this evening.

The Midlands side have moved eight points clear of the Championship relegation zone thanks to an impressive run of four straight wins, and Lambert has opted against tinkering with a starting XI that delivered a 3-1 victory over Cardiff City at the weekend.

That means another start up front for on-loan Derby County striker Andreas Weimann, with attacking support from Helder Costa, Ivan Cavaleiro and Ben Marshall.

Dave Edwards - Wolves' joint top scorer alongside Costa - continues in a holding role alongside Lee Evans.

Skipper Danny Batth, who scored a brace against Neil Warnock's side last time out, is in the heart of the defence alongside Kortney Hause, with Conor Coady at right-back and Matt Doherty on the left.

Andy Lonergan retains his place between the sticks as number one Carl Ikeme continues to recover from injury, with youngster Harry Burgoyne on the bench.

Other options on the bench for Lambert include Nouha Dicko, Jon Dadi Bodvarsson, Romain Saiss and Mike Williamson.

The game has come slightly too soon for injured trio Jordan Graham, Michal Zyro and Silvio, all of whom participated in a behind-closed-doors friendly earlier today.

Meanwhile, Forest boss Mark Warburton makes three changes from the side that claimed a 1-1 draw at Preston North End over the weekend as he looks for his first win in charge of the relegation-threatened side.

All three of those changes come in defence, with only centre-back Danny Fox retaining his place. Armand Traore is in for Daniel Pinillos at left-back, while Michael Mancienne replaces Eric Lichaj on the right.

Matt Mills makes a return to the back four after two months out with a groin injury, with Joe Worrall missing out on a place in the travelling squad.

Zach Clough, David Vaughan, Ben Brereton, Chris Cohen and Ben Osborn patrol the middle of the park, while 10-goal top scorer Britt Assombalonga continues up front.

Once again on-loan Aston Villa striker Ross McCormack is absent from the matchday squad as he remains "under the weather".
