Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how West Bromwich Albion could line up for their Premier League showdown with Everton on Thursday evening.

West Bromwich Albion will aim to keep the momentum going from their controversial victory over Brighton & Hove Albion when they welcome Everton to The Hawthorns on Thursday evening.

The Baggies' medical room is relatively empty at the moment bar Robert Snodgrass and Kieran Gibbs, although manager Sam Allardyce has expressed optimism over the former's availability for this match.

However, with a relegation six-pointer against Newcastle United to come at the weekend, Snodgrass may not be risked from the start just yet as Allardyce seeks to prioritise winnable matches during a demanding week.

As a result, Matt Phillips looks set to continue on the right-hand side of the attack for now, but Grady Diangana - who scored in September's 5-2 defeat to Everton - could be brought in on the left flank, allowing Matheus Pereira to operate in a central role.

Allardyce has confirmed that he will be shuffling the pack either for this game or the visit of Newcastle at the weekend, and the engine room is where the bulk of the alterations could occur with Jake Livermore and Romaine Sawyers both hoping to return to the first XI.

The duo's return would allow Conor Gallagher - on eight yellow cards - and Ainsley Maitland-Niles the chance to rest, and Allardyce has a big call to make at the back.

Semi Ajayi is available again having served a suspension, but Allardyce has talked up Dara O'Shea's qualities after he impressively deputised at the weekend, so the Baggies' rearguard could very well remain untouched.

West Bromwich Albion possible starting lineup:
Johnstone; Furlong, O'Shea, Bartley, Townsend; Livermore, Sawyers; Phillips, Pereira, Diangana; Diagne
