Spain boss Vicente del Bosque pays tribute to the performance of 35-year-old Aritz Aduriz in Thursday's 1-1 draw with Italy.

Spain boss Vicente del Bosque has hinted that he will select Aritz Aduriz as part of his Euro 2016 squad.

The 35-year-old was recalled to the La Roja squad for the first time in six years last week and netted his team's equaliser in their 1-1 draw with Italy on Thursday night.

Aduriz has also struck 31 goals for Athletic Bilbao this season, and Del Bosque said that the experienced striker "adapted perfectly" to Spain's style of play.

"Aduriz performed well. He's adapted perfectly to our game," Del Bosque told reporters.

Chelsea striker Diego Costa was left out of Del Bosque's latest selection.
