Real Madrid allow youngster Federico Valverde to move to Deportivo La Coruna on a season-long loan deal.

Deportivo La Coruna have completed the loan signing of Real Madrid youngster Federico Valverde.

In 2015, Real paid a fee in the region of €5m to sign the teenager from Uruguayan club Penarol and he spent the most recent campaign playing for 'B' team Castilla.

However, it has been revealed that he will spend the upcoming season at Deportivo, who only finished in 16th place in Spain's top flight this year.

In a club statement, Deportivo said that a deal had been reached for the 2017-18 campaign, but there was no option to buy the 18-year-old.

Valverde has just represented Uruguay at the Under-20 World Cup, where he finished as runner-up to England's Dominic Solanke who claimed the player of the tournament accolade.
