Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale is "not fussed" that he is no longer the world's most expensive player, with Paul Pogba taking that title this summer.

Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale has insisted that he is "not fussed" that he is no longer the world's most expensive player.

Los Blancos broke the world transfer record in 2013 when they parted with £85.3m to bring the Welshman to the Spanish capital from Tottenham Hotspur.

Paul Pogba is now the most expensive footballer in the world, however, after joining Manchester United from Juventus this summer for a figure in the region of £90m. Bale, though, has claimed that he 'could not care less'.

"I'm not fussed and I couldn't care less. None of the players have pulled my leg about it," Bale told reporters.

Since arriving in Spain, the 27-year-old, who is currently on international duty with Wales, has won two Champions League titles, the Copa del Rey, the Club World Cup and the UEFA Super Cup.
