A report claims that Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick is a transfer target for Australian A-League side Perth Glory.

Australian A-League side Perth Glory are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick.

The 34-year-old joined Man United from Tottenham Hotspur in 2006 and has won five Premier League titles and one Champions League during his time at Old Trafford.

The England international will be out of contract at the end of the season, however, and as it stands, there have not been talks over a fresh contract for the experienced midfielder.

According to FourFourTwo, Perth Glory will offer Carrick the chance to move to Australia when his contract expires.

Carrick has made 37 appearances in all competitions for Man United this season.
