Diogo Dalot has admitted that he is unsure where he will be playing his football next season.

The 22-year-old spent the 2020-21 campaign on loan at AC Milan from Manchester United and made 33 appearances for the Italian side in all competitions, scoring twice and providing three assists.

Milan have been linked with a permanent move for the defender, but a recent report claimed that the Serie A outfit were not prepared to meet Man United's asking price.

Dalot has said that it was "a real pleasure" to turn out at San Siro, but the Portuguese does not know whether he will be returning to the club next term.

"I like to become more and more complete," Dalot told Gazzetta dello Sport. "Italians love football; they always talk about it. And on the pitch, I feel I have improved a lot tactically.

"I'd say I've had a fantastic year and met some great people. It was a real pleasure to play for Milan, but now I'm thinking about the European Championship, and I really don't know what will happen."

Dalot, who is also believed to have attracted Napoli's attention with his performances in Serie A, still has more than two years left to run on his contract at Old Trafford.
