Tottenham Hotspur team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Manchester United

Sports Mole rounds up all of Tottenham Hotspur's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their Premier League clash with Manchester United on Sunday.

Tottenham Hotspur will hope to get back on track in the Premier League when they welcome Manchester United to North London for Sunday's crunch match.

The Lilywhites' failed to capitalise on Chelsea's defeat to West Bromwich Albion at the weekend as they were held to a 2-2 draw at Newcastle United, with Arsenal loanee Joe Willock netting a vital equaliser for the Magpies in the 85th minute at St James' Park.

Despite dropping two points in the North East, Jose Mourinho's men are firmly in the mix for a Champions League berth as they sit fifth in the table - two points behind fourth-placed Chelsea - and unlike their top-four rivals, they have the luxury of a full week off after their humiliating Europa League exit to Dinamo Zagreb.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Tottenham's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest.

Ben Davies

Status: Out
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: April 21 (vs. Southampton)

Ben Davies picked up a calf problem during the defeat to Zagreb and was not able to pull on the Wales jersey during the international break. Mourinho conceded that the left back was "not even close" to being ready for the Newcastle game, but Sergio Reguilon made a timely return at St James' Park.

Matt Doherty

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: Unknown

Davies' fellow full-back Matt Doherty picked up a muscular problem during the Republic of Ireland's defeat to Luxembourg on March 27, and Mourinho affirmed that the defender was not close to returning for the Newcastle game either, so he will not be back here either.

TOTTENHAM'S SUSPENSION LIST

Tottenham have no players suspended for this game.
