Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly offered a damning verdict on Liverpool's title chances following Sunday's 0-0 draw at Old Trafford.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly told his Manchester United players that Sunday's goalless draw with Liverpool offers proof that there is little between the two clubs.

Despite a massive turnaround in form since Solskjaer arrived at Old Trafford in mid-December, United still headed into last weekend's clash sitting 14 points behind their bitter rivals in the Premier League.

That gap remains the same following the bore draw, but United performed better in the stalemate and Solskjaer believes that Liverpool have now blown their chance to end their long wait for Premier League silverware.

According to The Sun, the Norwegian delivered a damning verdict on the Reds' title chances in the dressing room after the match, allegedly claiming that they rely too heavily on counters and lack creativity when chasing games.

A United source is quoted by the publication as saying: "Ole was very blunt about Liverpool with his players and clearly believes they do not have enough to beat City to the title.

"He thinks they are very one dimensional, lacking creativity. He certainly has faith that his team are a better outfit."

Liverpool are a point clear of champions Manchester City with 11 more games to play.
