Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho says that it is time for midfielder Henrik Mkhitaryan to impress at Old Trafford.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has hinted that Henrikh Mkhitaryan will feature in his squad for the Europa League clash with Fenerbahce.

Mkhitaryan has struggled for form and fitness since his summer move from Borussia Dortmund but after his return to training, Mourinho has backed him to once more reach "the levels" he performed at in the Bundesliga.

The 53-year-old told reporters: "Mkhitaryan was injured, he is not injured anymore and is training without any limitations.

"I cannot confirm if he will play tomorrow but he is fit and it is time for him to go back to the levels we know he can achieve."

The Armenian international has made just one start since the beginning of the season.
