Former Chelsea and Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly open to becoming the manager of Lyon or Monaco ahead of next season.

Jose Mourinho has reportedly decided that he is open to becoming the manager of either Lyon or Monaco.

Mourinho has been out of work since being sacked as Manchester United boss in December, and the Portuguese has recently indicated that he wants to have a new job by June.

According to L'Equipe, Mourinho has made it known to Lyon and Monaco that he is interested in being appointed as their next manager.

Bruno Genesio and Leonardo Jardim are currently in charge of those respective clubs, but it appears that the Portuguese wants to experience a new country.

Lyon currently sit in third place in the Ligue 1 standings - 24 points adrift of leaders Paris Saint-Germain - while Monaco are 16th after an improved spell under the recently-appointed Jardim.
