Carpi eye Fabio Borini swoop?

Liverpool striker Fabio Borini is a target of Serie A new boys Carpi, according to a report from Italy.

Newly promoted Carpi are reportedly interested in signing Liverpool striker Fabio Borini.

The Biancorossi will be playing in Serie A for the first time in their history this season and have so far been active in the transfer market during the summer.

It is believed that they are looking for a striker to lead their attack in the new campaign, and according to Sky Sport Italia, Borini has emerged as a possible target.

Borini scored just one goal for Liverpool last season.
