Liverpool and Brazil forward Roberto Firmino confesses to being "restless" in his quest for silverware and personal progression ahead of the Champions League final.

Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino has admitted to being "restless" in his quest for silverware and personal progression.

The Brazil international has scored 26 goals in all competitions for Jurgen Klopp's side this term, including 10 in the Champions League.

Despite the 2017-18 season being his most prolific at Anfield since arriving from Hoffenheim in 2015, Firmino believes that there is still room for improvement.

"This year is my best year as a professional footballer... but I am still a little bit restless as I always want more, to grow and grow even further," the 26-year-old told UEFA.com.

"[It would be] a unique moment to win the final. It's a very special trophy because it's the Champions League. If we're fortunate enough to be able to win it, it will be a very emotional moment for me and the whole team."

Firmino is the joint-second highest scorer in the Champions League alongside teammate Mohamed Salah and behind only Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo, who has scored 15 goals.
