Middlesbrough strengthened their hold on second place in the Championship by seeing off Leeds United 3-0 at the Riverside Stadium.
It took a little over two minutes for Boro to open the scoring thanks to David Nugent's close-range strike.
Giuseppe Bellusci headed into his own net to double the home side's advantage, before a costly Sol Bamba slip allowed Diego Fabbrini to round things off nine minutes from time.
