Chelsea are reportedly on the verge of coming to an agreement with Armando Broja over a new five-year contract.

Chelsea are reportedly on the verge of coming to an agreement with Armando Broja over a new five-year contract at Stamford Bridge.

The 19-year-old penned his first professional deal with the Blues in February 2020 and made his first-team debut for the capital club against Everton one month later.

The Albania international was sent on loan to Vitesse for the 2020-21 campaign and enjoyed an impressive spell in the Netherlands, scoring 11 times in 34 appearances.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are finalising the final details on a new contract until June 2026, with the teenager due to be a part of the first-team squad this season.

Broja spent time with Tottenham Hotspur during his youth career but has been with his current side since 2009, progressing through the various age groups to the first team.

The youngster has scored 16 times in 35 appearances for Chelsea Under-18s, while he has netted three times in 13 outings for the London club's Under-23s.
