Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante has reportedly been given the all-clear after fainting at the club's training ground last week.

Kante was a surprise absentee from the starting lineup for the Premier League fixture with Manchester City on Sunday, with reports suggesting that the French international had been ill.

According to The Telegraph, Kante passed out in the changing rooms on Friday, leading to concern from his teammates before the 26-year-old was given the all-clear by the club's doctor.

The former Leicester City man travelled to the Etihad Stadium with the rest of the first-team squad, but Antonio Conte opted not to include his main midfielder for the clash with the league leaders.

Kante - who has made 34 appearances this season - is expected to feature against Crystal Palace on Saturday evening.
