Brighton & Hove Albion manager Chris Hughton turns his attention to the summer transfer market but does not envisage making mass changes to his ranks.

Chris Hughton has ruled out making "dramatic changes" to his Brighton & Hove Albion squad during the summer transfer window.

The Seagulls have a second season of Premier League football to look forward to after beating Manchester United 1-0 last week to make mathematically certain of safety.

Hughton can now start to think about strengthening his side ahead of 2018-19, but the 59-year-old does not envisage big changes being made.

"There are departments at the club, recruitment and at board level, that have to look at different scenarios, but they have to keep working," he told reporters at Monday's press conference.

"It's nice now that we know where we are, we can plan, even regards to pre-season, 100% being able to plan everything we will do then.

"Until now, there were a few ifs and buts, so that's the pleasing aspect. A lot of our departments can get on knowing where we're going to be.

"I don't see dramatic changes. With any team, if you feel you can improve and be better next season, we will look at all of that, but I certainly don't see wholesale changes."

Brighton, unbeaten in three matches, see out their campaign with trips to Manchester City and Liverpool.
