Watford manager Marco Silva reportedly wants to sign Benfica and Peru winger Andre Carrillo on loan.

Benfica winger Andre Carrillo has emerged as a loan target for Watford, according to reports.

The 26-year-old moved from Sporting Lisbon just last summer and made 20 Primeira Liga appearances for the Eagles as they won the title.

However, most of those appearances were from the bench, with Carrillo thought to be eager for first-team football after making just three starts for the Portuguese champions.

According to The Sun, new Hornets boss Marco Silva wants a reunion with Carrillo - having worked with the Peruvian at Sporting - and believes that he can offer the player first-team action.

Carrillo, who is contracted to Benfica until 2021, is believed to have a price tag of around £8m.
