Saturday's Bundesliga predictions including Werder Bremen vs. Bayern Munich

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Saturday's Bundesliga fixtures, including Werder Bremen vs. Bayern Munich.

Wolfsburg vs. Schalke (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Wolfsburg take on Schalke 04 in the Bundesliga on Saturday, with the Wolves looking to bounce back after their unbeaten run of nine league matches was ended at Hoffenheim last weekend.

Schalke, meanwhile, drew 0-0 with Mainz 05, which in reality did little to boost either side's survival hopes.

We say: Wolfsburg 1-0 Schalke 04

Given their selection issues, we can envisage Wolfsburg finding things tougher than anticipated against Schalke, who did look defensively stronger in Grammozis's first game in charge last weekend.

However, the visitors are fairly depleted, too, and may lack the offensive threat to trouble even a makeshift Wolfsburg defensive unit, with Weghorst potentially proving the difference between the sides.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Mainz 05 vs. Freiburg (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Mainz 05 take on Freiburg in the Bundesliga on Saturday, with the hosts hoping to move out of the automatic relegation spots with a positive result.

Freiburg, meanwhile, can potentially move into seventh place with a victory.

We say: Mainz 05 1-2 Freiburg

We can envisage Freiburg edging an intriguing encounter, with Mainz's momentum under Svensson slowing in recent weeks.

Onisiwo's energy is a sore miss in the hosts' attack, with Freiburg simply possessing greater goal threats across the pitch.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Werder Bremen vs. Bayern (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Werder Bremen take on Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga on Saturday, with the visitors looking to remain top of the table with a victory.

Bremen, meanwhile, have all but wrapped up survival after moving 11 points clear of Arminia Bielefeld and the relegation zone by beating them in midweek.

We say: Werder Bremen 1-3 Bayern Munich

Bremen drew the reverse fixture 1-1 so clearly have the armoury to hurt Bayern, but we expect the Bavarians' offensive talent to overpower the hosts.

Kohfeldt's side are all but safe now so can play with a degree of relaxation, which should only help the visitors, who need to win to keep ahead of Leipzig.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Union Berlin vs. FC Koln (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Union Berlin take on FC Koln in the Bundesliga on Saturday, with the visitors looking to increase their current safety cushion of three points above the relegation zone.

The hosts, meanwhile, need to avoid defeat to guarantee that they will remain in the top half of the table by the end of the weekend.

We say: Union Berlin 1-1 FC Koln

We can envisage a low-scoring draw between two sides who are probably closer in ability than the league table would suggest, with Koln likely to be content with another point as they look to avoid relegation this season.

Union Berlin look less threatening without the pace of Becker and Awoniyi in attack, so may struggle to stretch Koln's defence.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Dortmund vs. Hertha Berlin (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Borussia Dortmund take on Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga on Saturday, with the hosts languishing four points outside of the Champions League qualification places.

Hertha, meanwhile, ended a winless run of nine league games last weekend, but still have plenty of work to do to move further away from the relegation zone.

We say: Borussia Dortmund 2-1 Hertha Berlin

We expect Dortmund to edge a close encounter, with Haaland and Marco Reus likely to prove too hot for Hertha to handle on the day.

Should Dardai be brave with his team selection by utilising Cordoba and Piatek both in attack, though, the visitors could pose BVB plenty of problems on the break.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.
