Barcelona attacker Antoine Griezmann is only interested in returning to Atletico Madrid this summer, according to a report.

Antoine Griezmann is reportedly only interested in returning to Atletico Madrid this summer.

Barcelona president Joan Laporta has confirmed that the France international is available for transfer, as the Catalan outfit look to address their financial problems.

The World Cup winner has been linked with a return to Atletico as part of a swap deal for Saul Niguez, but the La Liga champions have been unable to reach an agreement with Ronald Koeman's side.

According to Sport, Griezmann is open to leaving Camp Nou in the current market, but the attacker is only interested in making the move to Wanda Metropolitano.

The report claims that a number of Premier League and Serie A clubs are keen to take him on loan for the 2021-22 campaign with a view to a permanent transfer next summer.

The Frenchman scored 133 goals and registered 50 assists in 257 appearances for Atletico between 2014 and 2019 before moving to Barcelona in a big-money deal.

Griezmann has largely struggled to show his best form at Camp Nou, though, despite scoring 35 goals and registering 17 assists in 99 appearances for the club in all competitions.
