Midfielder Ivan Rakitic says that he would be happy to see Neymar make a return to Barcelona at some stage in the future.

Midfielder Ivan Rakitic has revealed that he would be delighted to see Neymar make a return to Barcelona.

Reports have suggested that Neymar is currently unhappy at Paris Saint-Germain and would like a return to Spain, although it has been claimed that the Ligue 1 outfit have been 'banned' from selling the Brazilian attacker.

Real Madrid will allegedly make a big-money move for the forward in the future, but Rakitic has said that he is keen to see Neymar spend a second spell at Camp Nou.

The 30-year-old told reporters: "Neymar's not said anything to me but if it was up to me, I would open the door for him to come back right now.

"Not just because of the relationship I have with him, but because of the type of player he is. I would always put Neymar in my team."

Between 2013 and 2017, Neymar scored 103 goals in 182 appearances for Barcelona.
