7.15pmGood evening and thank you for joining Sports Mole for live text commentary of the Serie A match between AC Milan and Juventus at the San Siro.

7.18pmIt has already been a busy day of football with Manchester City lifting the League Cup and Real Madrid sharing four goals with rivals Atletico Madrid, but tonight sees the meeting of two of Italy's most successful clubs. Current title holders and 29 times champions Juventus will be looking to stretch their lead at the top of the table to 11 points as they visit an in-form AC Milan side.

7,20pmThe Rossoneri have won four of their six league matches since the managerial appointment of Clarence Seedorf and will be hoping their renascence continues this evening against a team who have lost one game in Serie A all season.

7.22pmMILAN XI: Abbiati, Abate, Rami, De Sciglio, Bonera, Emanuelson, De Jong, Poli, Montolivo, Kaka, Taarabt, Pazzini

7.23pmJUVENTUS XI: Buffon, Barzagli, Bonucci, Caceres, Lichtsteiner, Pogba, Pirlo, Marchisio, Asamoah, Tevez, Llorente

7.24pmMILAN SUBS: Amelia, Gabriel, Zaccardo, De Sciglio, Mexes, Essien, Constant, Petagna, Birsa, Honda, Saponar, Robinho

7.25pmJUVENTUS SUBS: Storari, Rubinho, Chiellini, Ogbonna, Peluso, Padoin, Isla, Giovinco, Quagliarella, Osvaldo

7.27pmMILAN TEAM NEWS: As expected, Mario Balotelli misses out for the home side after failing to recover from a shoulder injury, so Giampaolo Pazzini continues as the lone striker. Kaka returns to the starting XI in place of Keisuke Honda, while Andrea Poli and Nigel De Jong are also back in the side. Christian Abbiati is picked in goal ahead of Marco Amelia after missing last weekend's win over Sampdoria.

7.30pmJUVENTUS TEAM NEWS: The Bianconeri have made a host of changes following their win over Trabzonspor in midweek. Andrea Pirlo, Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente were all on the bench in Turkey, but are back in the starting XI this evening. Arturo Vidal is suspended, so Claudio Marchisio keeps his place in the team. Andrea Barzagli is the only change in defence, with Giorgio Chiellini only fit enough for a place on the bench.

7.32pmThe scene is set for tonight's match, and this is how things are looking in Milan as we approach kick off.

7.35pmWhen the two sides met earlier this season, Juventus claimed a 3-2 win in a thrilling encounter. Milan opened the scoring inside 20 seconds, but Juventus roared back to take the points, with Phillepe Mexes seeing a red for the visitors. Hopefully we will have something like that tonight, as Juventus (322) and Milan (319) have recorded the most shots in the league this season.

7.38pmOne man who can make a difference is the midfield genius Andrea Pirlo. He won two titles and two Champions League trophies in his time with the Rossoneri, and many believe that it was a huge mistake to let a player of his calibre leave the club.

7.42pmPREDICTION: With such a mouth-watering game ahead of us, it is good for the home side that they come into the match high on confidence after their poor start to the season. They have struggled in the biggest of occasions recently and will be determined to give the home fans something to cheer about. Juventus have been in stunning form and have won 15 out of their last 17 league games. They can strike at any moment and Milan will face a tough battle in the midfield against Pirlo and Pogba. I think that we will see an open game of football and I fancy the game to finish level, with a 1-1 draw my view of the outcome.

7.45pmThe players make their way out of the tunnel and are greeted by a rapturous reception from the home fans.

1 minKICKOFF! We are underway at the San Siro!

2 minJuventus nearly work a decent opening inside the first two minutes of the match as Pogba plays a wonderful pass with the outside of his foot to Asamoah on the left wing, but with Llorente and Tevez making their way into the box he scuffs his cross and it heads behind for a goal kick.

3 minThe first effort on goal comes from Juventus, as Lichtsteiner tries his luck from the edge of the box, but he can't quite direct his strike and it goes wide of the post.

5 minCHANCE! It is a really open match in the opening stages and Milan are next to threaten. Taarabt manages to work himself some room and attempts to bend an effort into the top corner with the outside of his right foot, with Buffon seeing it all the way before making the catch.

7 minMontolivo wins the ball from Marchisio just outside his own box with a crunching challenge. The hosts break quickly and find the lively Taarabt. He manages to get the ball onto his right foot and drills in a shot that is blocked, before the rebound cannons off him and behind for a goal kick.

9 minPazzini does brilliantly to latch onto a long ball forward and knocks it back for the arriving Kaka to strike. The Brazilian tries a low drive, but ends up mishitting the effort wide of the post. You would expect him to do better from there, but it has been a positive start from the Rossoneri.

12 minCHANCE! Milan continue to threaten and Taarabt whips in a teasing cross from the right wing that is flicked on by Kaka, and headed just over the bar from Pazzini.

13 minIt is all Milan at the moment and this is really good period in the match for them. They manage to work the ball wide and whip in a cross that is cleared to Emanuelson. The left back goes for goal with a half-volley, however his strike is high and wide and causes Buffon no problems.

16 minCHANCE! Despite not seeing much of the ball, Juventus are always a threat and they come close when Llorente flicks on a long ball into the path of Tevez, with the Argentine drilling an effort on goal, but it is too central to cause Abbiati any real problems.

17 minIt looks like Pazzini is hauled to the ground by Bonucci, but the referee waves play on and Juventus break forward. The ball is played to Pogba who strides forward and unleashes a strike from all of 35 yards out, but it is not his best attempt and flies into the stands.

19 minSAVE! Milan nearly gift Juventus the lead after some woeful defending. They lose the ball cheaply inside their own box and it comes through to Lichtsteiner at the back post, who sees his close-range effort brilliantly blocked by Abbiati.

23 minCHANCE! Juventus aren't dominating this match, but they have had the best chances and they come close yet again, when Caceres meets Pirlo's corner to power a header just past the front post.

25 minIt is end to end at the moment and Milan win a corner. The visitors manage to clear the ball away to Emanuelson, who cuts in from the left and drills in a low strike that Buffon has to watch carefully

26 minOFF THE LINE! Milan should be in the lead! They get the ball into the box and work it brilliantly to Kaka, who sees his shot saved by Buffon. The rebound falls kindly to him and he tries to slot it into the bottom corner, but it is cleared off the line by Bonucci.

29 minWe may not have seen a goal yet, but this is a fascinating game to watch. Milan will be the happier of the two sides, but Seedorf will know that if you don't make your chances count against a team like Juventus, more often than not you will be punished.

32 minCHANCE! Pazzini has done a great job up front so far this evening, and he holds off the challenge of Bonucci to set up Poli on the edge of the box, but the midfielder places his effort high over the bar. It was a disappointing finish and needed far more composure than was shown.

34 minCHANCE! Montolivo is fully capable of finding the back of the net. and he does well to fire in volley from the edge of the box that Buffon does well to get down and push away from danger.

37 minMilan continue to look the more likely to find the back of the net and Emanuelson's low cross is inches away from finding Pazzini with Bonucci clearing behind. The resulting corner causes all kinds of problems, but a foul from Rami sees the referee give them a free kick and relieves the danger.

40 minCHANCE! The impressive Pazzini causes Juventus more problems by controlling a pass inside the box, before turning Barzagli and firing in an effort that is straight at Buffon.

43 minCHANCE! The home side waste another big chance to take the lead. They hit Juventus on the break and find Kaka just outside the box. The Brazilian gets the ball onto his right foot and bends in an effort that is beaten away by Buffon. The ball then lands in the path of Poli, but from just a few yards out, he blasts high over the bar.

44 minGOAL! AC Milan 0-1 Juventus (Llorente)

44 minCompletely against the run of play Juventus have taken the lead! Tevez slips a lovely ball into the path of Lichtsteiner, who then plays it across goal for Llorente to tap into the net. It is a huge blow for Milan, who have dominated this first half and should themselves be in front.

45 minWe are going to have one minute of stoppage time at the end of the half.

45+1 minHALF-TIME: AC Milan 0-1 Juventus

8.36pmDespite a great first half display, Milan somehow find themselves a goal down at the interval. They have made all the running and have had numerous chances to score, but Llorente's strike a minute from the end of the half sees the league leaders ahead, and set to go 11 points clear at the top of the table.

8.40pmIt is not often you see a team dominate the possession against Juventus, but that is exactly what Milan did. They saw a huge 58% of the ball in the first half, as well as having 16 attempts on goal. Juventus managed six strikes, but it is theirs that has made the difference.

8.43pmThe man who has broken the deadlock this evening has had a few words to say at half time.

8.47pmThere isn't too much else Milan could have done in that first half. They dominated a midfield comprised of Pogba, Pirlo and Marchisio and if they had shown more composure in the final third, things may well be different. Seedorf may think of making a few changes, with the likes of Honda and Robinho more than capable of coming on and finding the back of the net.

8.49pmJuventus are always a threat, even when they are not seeing much of the ball, and they have spread out the goals throughout the team this season.

8.50pmThe teams are back out and the second half is just moments away from getting started.

46 minJuventus kick off and we are back underway!

49 minCHANCE! Milan start the half by seeing plenty of the ball, but Juventus win it in midfield and break quickly. It is feed forward to Tevez, who drives into the box and gets the ball on his right foot, before driving in a low strike that is well held by Abbiati.

50 minCHANCE! The hosts come close with two efforts in under a minute. Their first chance sees Taarabt's curling cross just evade the head of Pazzini, with Buffon having to push the ball clear. Moments later the visitors lose the ball inside their own box, and it is played to Kaka, who teases a cross into the middle which Pazzini meets, but the striker glances his header wide of the far post.

53 minSUBSTITUTION: Milan are forced into a change, as Poli goes off injured, with Saponara coming on in his place.

56 minThe home side are still dominating the possession and pushing Juve deep inside the own half. They eventually manage to win a free kick just outside the box, after Pogba brings down Taarabt with a clumbsy challenge.

58 minYELLOW CARD! The free kick is laid off for Rami to strike and Marchisio rushes forward to block the shot. He had moved out of the wall too early and is booked by the referee, so Milan will have another chance to take the set piece.

59 minMontolivo takes the free kick this time, but it is a poor attempt, as he ends up curling the strike high and wide of the goal.

62 minIt is still a wide open game of football, but Milan haven't quite produced the intensity of attacking football they displayed during the first 45 minutes. Their build-ups are slightly more laboured and the Juventus defence are dealing with their attacks quite easily.

64 minYELLOW CARD! Former Milan legend Pirlo is booked for the away side after a poor, late challenge on Saponara.

68 minGOAL! AC Milan 0-2 Juventus (Tevez)

68 minJuventus have hardly threatened in this second half, but a moment of magic from Tevez has given them a two-goal lead. The Argentine found space outside the box and took a touch, before drilling a brilliant strike into the back of the net off the underside of the crossbar. It is looking more and more likely that the Bianconeri are going to be taking the three points back to Turin this evening.

71 minSUBSTITUTION: Milan respond to that goal by bringing Honda on for Montolivo.

73 minThe hosts look to conjure up a quick goal and they manage to win a corner. It is played short to Taarabt, who picks out Saponara on the edge of the box, but the midfielder's half volley is hit straight into the gloves of Buffon.

75 minSUBSTITUTION: Milan make their final change of the evening, as Taarabt heads off to be replaced by Robinho.

78 minRobinho has his first sight of goal since coming on as he makes a darting run to the front post to meet Emanuelson's cross, but he can't direct the ball goalwards and sends it behind for a goal kick.

80 minCHANCE! The home side win a corner and Honda opts to take it short instead of putting the ball into the box. It is then played to Emanuelson, who fires in a long-range effort that Buffon does well to push away.

83 minYELLOW CARD! Tevez continues to cause the Milan defence problems and he pushes the ball past Bonera, who blocks his run just outside the box. The defender picks up a booking for the foul, and Juventus will now have a free kick in a promising position.

84 minSUBSTITUTION: Before the free kick is taken, Juventus bring Padoin on for Lichtsteiner.

84 minCHANCE! Milan fans have seen Pirlo score his fair share of free kicks on this ground, and he comes close to netting again as his curling effort dips just over the bar.

87 minOFF THE POST! Juventus almost make it three as Pogba drives through the midfield before firing in a low effort that beats Abbiati, but hits the outside of the post before going wide.

90 minSUBSTITUTION: Osvaldo will play for the final minutes of the match, with goalscorer Llorente heading off.

90 minWe are going to have four minutes of stoppage time.

90+2 minSUBSTITUTION: Juventus make another change, with Giovinco coming on for Tevez.

90+3 minOFF THE BAR! Milan almost pull a goal back late on as Robinho arrives unmarked at the back post to smash an effort against the crossbar.

90+4 minFULL-TIME: AC Milan 0-2 Juventus

9.42pmJuventus have moved 11 points clear at the top of the table, after triumphing at the San Siro. Llorente and Tevez scored in each half to seal the points, but Milan will wonder how they lost. Clarence Seedorf's men can be proud of their performance, but they failed to take their chances after dominating for much of the evening.

9.45pmThere is now a 34 point gap between the teams in the league, but it didn't show this evening. Milan took the game to Juventus, and tonight is surely a good sign of things to come for them. As for Juventus, they are cruising to a third successive Scudetto and have stretched their unbeaten league run to 18 matches.

9.48pmThat's all we've got time for here. Please stay with us at Sports Mole for all of tonight's results and the latest news. I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend, goodbye!
