Ian's assailant leaves the Vic unnoticed. When Sharon returns from collecting Albie she finds Ian motionless on the floor and calls Kathy. They are unable to find a pulse and call for an ambulance.... and the police. Who wanted Ian dead so much that they would attack him?

Jack leads the investigation into Ian's attack and finds a plethora of suspects - but after a breakthrough, one of them is arrested.

Kat visits Phil demanding her cut from the job so that she can move abroad with Kush, but he only gives her a fraction of what she was owed. Kush realises what he needs to do and hands himself in to the police.

Honey lets Jay know that Paul has been convicted for assaulting another woman, but they are interrupted by Suki accusing her son Will of stealing from the Minute Mart. The youngster explains that he was taking food to help out a friend who is struggling and she softens when he reveals that the food was out of date anyway.

Kat is left stunned when Jack reveals that Kush has turned himself in. After telling Phil what Kush has done, Kat still seems determined to leave the Square.
