Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry admits that the team "couldn't ask for a better start" to the season after improving to a record-equalling 15-0.

Stephen Curry has admitted that the Golden State Warriors "couldn't ask for a better start" to the 2015-16 NBA season after improving to 15-0.

The reigning champions' 118-105 win over the Denver Nuggets matches the best start to a season set by the 1948-49 Washington Capitols and 1993-94 Houston Rockets.

Last season's MVP told reporters: "It's kind of a quiet confidence that we don't feel like we're going to lose anytime soon. The way we're playing, we can get even better.

"It's a huge accomplishment. Obviously, coming off a championship and taking care of business 15 straight times to start the season, couldn't ask for a better start."

The Warriors will hold the record outright if they continue their winning run against the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday.
