Eddie Jones expects his England players to turn their form around when facing Ireland next weekend, having lost back-to-back matches for the first time under the Aussie.

Eddie Jones has suggested that he intends to stick with largely the same group of players for England's final 2018 Six Nations match at home to Ireland.

The Red Rose head into next weekend's clash at Twickenham Stadium on the back of successive defeats, going down 25-13 to Scotland last month and 22-16 to France on Saturday.

Defeat for back-to-back tournament winners England in their final outing will mark their worst showing in the competition since 2006, but head coach Jones does not believe that mass changes are required.

"I don't [think we need personnel changes]; I think we have the best players here," he told Sky Sports News. "In 2015 the players were no good, in 2016 they were terrific, 2017 they were world beaters and now after two games they are no good again. They are good players and teams have ups and downs.

"We have a plan going forward. We think we know what we have to fix. We are basically getting on with it, the players' attitude has been fantastic, they have a real desire to turn things around. I am sure on Saturday we will put in a fantastic performance."

Ireland have already been crowned Six Nations champions and are seeking the win required to make it a Grand Slam.
