England recall Northampton Saints flanker Tom Wood for the upcoming Autumn Internationals.

England head coach Eddie Jones has included Northampton Saints flanker Tom Wood in his 33-man squad for the upcoming Autumn Internationals against South Africa, Fiji, Argentina and Australia.

The 29-year-old is yet to play under Jones after he was dropped from the international setup following England's failed World Cup campaign last year.

The 42-capped player has now been given a chance to revive his international career, while Charlie Ewels, Mike Haley, Nathan Hughes, Kyle Sinckler, Alex Lozowski and Ben Te'o have the opportunity to gain their first caps.

Bath's Dave Attwood has returned to the fold, along with Gloucester duo Ben Morgan and Jonny May.

"With a number of influential players missing through injury we have two weeks to prepare a robust and resilient team to meet the challenges set for us in the Old Mutual Wealth Series." said Jones.

"Our training camp in Portugal is a great opportunity to spend a week together, focus on putting our gameplans in place and for new players to understand the England way.

"We're looking forward to being back in front of a passionate Twickenham crowd and I'm confident we can prepare well and put together a matchday 23 which is full of pride, energy and commitment to give South Africa the game of their lives."

England's opening Test against South Africa will be on November 12.
