Serie A club Palermo reportedly register an interest in signing striker Marouane Chamakh, who has recently been on trial at West Bromwich Albion.

Forward Marouane Chamakh has reportedly emerged as a target for Serie A side Palermo.

After being released by Crystal Palace earlier in the summer, the Moroccan international is still without a club but he recently underwent a trial with West Bromwich Albion.

However, according to Corriere dello Sport, Palermo are keen to strengthen in the final third after scoring just once in their opening three league fixtures this season.

The 32-year-old has spent the last six years in English football playing for Arsenal, West Ham United and Palace.
