Wales winger Gareth Bale admits that his side will face a "difficult game" against Uruguay in the China Cup final, and insists that their threat extends beyond Luis Suarez.

Wales winger Gareth Bale has admitted that his side will face a "difficult game" when they take on Uruguay in the China Cup on Monday.

New manager Ryan Giggs got his reign off to a flying start with a 6-0 win over hosts China in the semi-final of the four-team competition on Thursday, with Bale scoring a hat-trick to surpass Ian Rush as his country's leading scorer of all time.

Wales will now face Uruguay in the final for the chance to win their first piece of silverware for 81 years, but Bale warned that they will need to be wary of more than just star striker Luis Suarez.

"We know Uruguay have some great players, it's not just Suarez," Bale told reporters.

"We know it's going to be a difficult game, but we try not to concentrate too much on our opposition, it's more about concentrating on us and what we can do.

"They have some fantastic players and that they're going to be dangerous. We have to be wary of them, but they also have to worry about us."

Wales's last trophy came with victory in the British Home Championship in 1937.
