Tottenham Hotspur announce that they have signed Serge Aurier from Paris Saint-Germain.

Tottenham Hotspur have announced that they have completed the signing of Serge Aurier from Paris Saint-Germain.

Since the departure of Kyle Walker to Manchester City, Spurs have been in the market for an experienced right-back, despite the emergence of academy prospect Kyle Walker-Peters.

It has now been confirmed that they have been successful in their attempt to sign Aurier from PSG for a fee reported to be in the region of £23m.

The Ivory Coast international had also been linked with both Chelsea and Manchester United, but the North London outfit have managed to get a deal over the line for the 24-year-old.

Aurier leaves the Parc des Princes having made 75 appearances in all competitions since first representing PSG in 2014.

Spurs have revealed that Aurier - who becomes their fourth signing of the summer - has penned a five-year contract.
