Aleksandar Dragovic completes loan move to Leicester City

Leicester City announce the signing of Aleksandar Dragovic from Bayer Leverkusen on a season-long loan.

Leicester City have announced the signing of Aleksandar Dragovic from Bayer Leverkusen on a season-long loan.

The Foxes have been keen to bring in a defender, and have turned to Dragovic after getting knocked back by Arsenal in their attempt to sign Calum Chambers.

Dragovic, who has been capped 54 times for Austria, all join up with manager Craig Shakespeare and his new teammates after the international break.

The 26-year-old joined Leverkusen just one year ago, but he started just 15 Bundesliga matches and provided one assist in that time.

Dragovic has previously played for Austria Wien, Basel and Dynamo Kiev, winning 10 trophies in the process.
