Serena Williams takes just 64 minutes to book her place in the Australian Open final at the expense of Agnieszka Radwanska.

World number one Serena Williams eased into the Australian Open final courtesy of a 6-0 6-4 victory over Agnieszka Radwanska earlier today.

Williams broke her Polish opponent at the first time of asking in Melbourne, which set her up to go on and claim the first set in just 20 minutes.

Fourth seed Radwanska provided more resistance in the second set and she actually broke the 21-time Grand Slam singles champion to level at three games apiece.

However, Williams responded in the ninth game with a break of her own and she then proceeded to serve three aces to secure her spot in Sunday's showpiece event.

The 34-year-old, who hit 42 winners over the course of the encounter, has lost none of the six Australian Open finals that she has contested.

Venus Williams of the US poses with her trophy after winning the women's singles final match against Karolina Pliskova of the Czech Republic at the WTA Elite Trophy in Zhuhai, southern China's Guangdong province on November 8, 2015.
