Barcelona defender Gerard Pique appears to have struck an unlikely friendship with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg as the pair recently dined together.
The Spanish footballer joined Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan on Wednesday at the Cotton House Hotel during the American billionaire's visit to the Catalan city.
Pique tweeted a picture of himself with the couple and added the caption: "Happy to see you again Priscilla and Mark. Hope you have had a great time in Barcelona!"
In December the Spain international and his partner Shakira congratulated Zuckerberg on the birth of his daughter Max.
