England qualify for the EuroHockey Championships semi-final after a 4-0 victory over Spain.

England are through to the semi-finals of the EuroHockey Championships in London after defeating Spain 4-0.

The hosts needed just a draw to qualify from Pool A, after a win against Russia and a loss to Holland earlier in the week.

Ashley Jackson scored twice, with captain Barry Middleton and Chris Griffiths scoring rebounds as England set up a semi-final clash against Germany on Thursday.

Ireland also qualified for the semi-final for the first time after a 2-2 draw against Belgium. They will meet Holland on Thursday.
